Buddy was a child in an orphanage stored in a Santa bag and ended up in the North Pole. Later, as an adult who grows up with a story, Santa lets him go to New York City to find his biological father, Walter Hobbs. Hobbs, on Santa’s bad list because he has no heart, did not know that Buddy was even born. Meanwhile, friends find the fun of New York City (and human culture) that only fairies can do. When Walter and Buddy’s relationship interferes with his work, he is forced to evaluate his priorities.
